‘Chugga, Chugga, Choo, Choo‘ – or is it? A debate is going viral online and people want to know: How many “chuggas“ are supposed to come before “choo, choo“?
This all started with a post from a user on Reddit who says, he uses two “chugga,“ his child uses three “chuggas,“ and his child’s teacher only uses one.
The consensus in the comments seems to be 8. One users said, “My rules is the same number of chuggas as we do for the batman cartoon theme song: ‘na na na na na na na na na na na na BATMAN!’“
Another user said, “I would agree with 8, that’s what I’ve always done.“
But if you’re trying to move the train a certain distance does the number change? One Reddit commenter used this logic, “Always multiples of 4, depending on how far you need to pretend your train is moving.“
The burning question has been upvoted more than 27,000 times on Reddit.
If this debate is all based off the children’s book, “Chugga-Chugga Choo-Choo“ by Kevin Lewis and Daniel Kirk, then the answer lies within the title.
