Victims of roadside crashes ask drivers to slow down

GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Law enforcement and construction workers who have been victims of roadside crashes spoke out to ask drivers to slow down and move over.

A state trooper and work zone crews recount the moments vehicles crashed into them, and their lives flashed before their eyes. They hope by sharing their stories, drivers will pay attention a little more and keep their safety in mind, too.

This is important during construction season when there may be more travel during the summer months, but those on the roads want drivers to heed this notice year round.
