Troy’s City Council president appeared in court Thursday evening and pleaded guilty to DWAI.

New York State Police arrested Carmella Mantello last week after another driver called and said a car was driving aggressively behind him and tailgating.

Troopers pulled Mantello’s car over in Clifton Park a short time later. Police said she blew a .13 on a breathalyzer test.

Mantello will have to pay a $753 fine and take DWI classes. Her license will also be suspended for 90 days.
