Toy Show raises money for Ronald McDonald House

Hundreds of vintage toy and action figure enthusiasts from across the Capital Region gathered at the Polish Community Center in Albany Saturday for the 66th Annual Northland Toy Show.

Over 90 vendors showcased a variety of collectables including hot wheels, trains, and dolls.

The club’s members range in age from 32 to 85, they hold a toy show twice a year.

The club’s president says the money collected at the door is donated to a cause close to his heart.

“One of my passions is Ronald McDonald House.  Years ago, I stayed at a Ronald McDonald house with my son in Long Island and it instilled that in me that I want to help them out,” said Edward Pizzigati.

The next toy show will be held on November 2nd.
