After knowing each other for six years and dating for two, Dan Leach decided to pop the question after his graduation from the New York State Police Academy.
He chose this moment because his future bride Lauren Livolsi watched her father graduate from the academy 20 years ago.
The proposal wasn’t the only surprise. Her ring was a family heirloom from Dan that had been passed down for generations.
