With recent snowmobile accidents like the one in Knox that left a man hospitalized after riding at a high speed, experts are saying to take it easy in the snow.
Snowmobile wrecks often happen because people aren’t familiar with the trails. To avoid mistakes a person should ride within their limits.
“If you go too fast and the snow is coming at you too quickly, and you’re not able to adjust, that is when accidents happen,“ said Jim Blessing a NY State Snowmobile Instructor.
When visibility is low it is better to stay home. Remember driving under the influence is prohibited in New York State.
