Some say it’s never too cold for ice cream, especially over at The Snowman.
Troy’s beloved ice cream shop opened their windows at 11 a.m. Saturday morning.
It’s their 66th year serving up sundaes, banana splits, flurries, shakes, and brownie royals.
“It’s nice to go someplace that is local, that is not part of a huge chain, it’s from us here. It’s from Troy and any ice cream place in Troy belongs to the whole Capital Region,” said Lois Pownall.
The Snowman is open Saturday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sundays they open at noon.
