The vote has been in the planning for months, and Tuesday’s snowfall wasn’t going to stop it.
The Catskill Central School District voted on a Capital Project that needed to pass so repairs can begin on all three schools.
Along with repairs to leaky roof tops, the District wants to up grade lighting, renovate the middle school gym in to a STEM lab, and increase security on all campuses.
The district began clearing the snow as soon as it started to fall and kept up as people started to show up to vote. Voting ended at 9 p.m.
