Southwest Airlines is the only company that flies Boeing 737 Max 8 aircrafts in and out of Albany International Airport.
Even so, some travelers say they are concerned about their connecting flights.
One person says they trust the airlines to make sure the planes are safe. Another says she tried to change her recent flight to a different type of plane but was told there were only standby options and decided to board anyway.
Southwest telling NEWS10 ABC in a statement: “We operate 34 Max 8 aircraft …we remain confident in the safety and airworthiness of the Max 8. We don’t have any changes planned to our Max 8 operations.”
