Second Berkshire County pot shop opening next week

Temescal Wellness in Pittsfield says they’ll be open for business starting Tuesday, January 15th. 

They’ll be the first legal recreational dispensary in the city, and the second in Berkshire County.

Theory Wellness in Great Barrington opens their doors this Friday. 

Temescal has served as a Medicinal dispensary since October 2018. They say their new 3,000 square-foot facility will provide customers a variety of high-quality products and high-end service. 

Opening day information: 

Temescal Wellness staff worked closely with city officials and neighboring businesses to execute a smooth and hassle-free opening. There will be over 100 parking spots available to customers, both in the lot adjacent to the building and an additional lot across the street. Outdoor tents and portable, outside bathrooms will be provided to customers who may have to wait in line. Fourteen associates who have gone through sixty hours of extensive training will be on site Tuesday to educate and guide prospective cannabis buyers through the buying process.

Opening week information:

During opening week, Temescal Wellness will only be accepting cash payments.

Purchase limits will apply on opening day, in accordance with Massachusetts law.

  • 1/8 ounce flower
  • 2 each .5 grams pre roll joints
  • 1 vape pen or cartridge

A variety of concentrates will be also be available. Total purchase will be subject to Mass state purchase limits of 1 ounce of flower or 5 grams of concentrate.
