ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — According to an Albany High School Facebook post, the school went into lockdown around 12:50 p.m. and hold-in-place around 1:30 p.m. on December 9. The school reports there was a student altercation with a knife.
Albany high school returned to normal security procedures shortly after 2 p.m. with the exception that students will not be allowed to enter the building for the rest of the school day. The school reports all after-school activities at Albany high, including sports practices, are canceled. The investigation remains ongoing. Check back with News10 for updates.
