PITTSFIELD, Mass. (NEWS10) – City of Pittsfield residents and business owners can now register their property’s alarm system for free through a new electronic form available on the city’s website.
The electronic registration form, along with a brief video tutorial, is available here. As a reminder, alarm registration is required annually. No further action is required for those who have already registered for 2019.
“The registration information provides public safety departments with accurate data in the event of a possible emergency,” said Chief Information Officer Mike Steben.
For those who may not have access to a computer, paper copies will be available in the lobby of the Pittsfield Police Department, 39 Allen St. For more information, or assistance with the registration process, please call 413-499-9404.
