Hold the sandwich…More than 13,000 pounds of ready-to-eat deli ham products from Market 32 have been recalled because they may contain pieces of plastic.
The recall affects 97% fat free Market 32 by Price Chopper Black Forest Ham with an April 8 sell-by-date. The ham was sliced and sold by weight from Market 32 deli counters. It was produced on January 25.
No injuries or illnesses have been reported yet, but the FDA says it is worried some consumers may still have the ham in their refrigerator.
Anyone who purchased the recalled ham should throw it away, or may return it to their local Market 32 for a full refund.
