Police crack down on social media threats in Warren County

QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is cracking down on school threats.

Police are partnering with Social Sentinel, a company that uses software to monitor harmful language on sites like Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube.

The software would only monitor profiles within Warren County School Districts. Once a contract is complete, the hope is to implement the program by July.
