SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Former hospital workers continue to fight for their pensions, this time in a court of law.
Representatives of the St. Clare’s Corporation were in Schenectady County Court on Tuesday to discuss the petition to dissolve the Corporation. There was also a representative from the Attorney General’s Office as well as two attorneys to represent pensioners in the matter.
Pensioners are seeking to block the dissolution because if money was made available to make their pensions whole, they would need the Corporation in order to distribute it.
The judge ruled to have all responses to the petition filed by April 30.
