About 50 parents, students and staff attended a school safety forum Monday night at Niskayuna High School.
This is the second public forum since threats were made at Van Antwerp Middle School and Niskayuna High School.
A panel of principals from each school in the district along with the superintendent and assistant police chief took questions from the audience.
This was a much tamer meeting than a couple of weeks ago where parents and students were outraged and divided on many issues.
Tonight, many commended school administrators for their efforts to make the schools in the district safer.
Others say they want to see more proactive action to prevent threats or incidences from occurring in the future.
