Officials investigating ‘suspicious’ disappearance of Stillwater man

Local

STILLWATER, N.Y. (NEWS10) The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help from the public in its investigation into the suspicious January disappearance of a 42-year-old man from Stillwater.

Officials say Michael Ahern was reported missing on January 15. Friends and family said they last heard from him on January 6.

Friends and family say Ahern was not depressed and he had no other reason to leave the area without informing his family. His dogs and vehicles were found at his residence on Brickyard Road, and his prescriptions were never picked up. Ahern was a member of the motorcycle club Rolling Pride, which had been using the building on Brickyard road as their clubhouse. The club has since disbanded.

Anyone with information on the Ahern’s whereabouts is asked to contact Saratoga County Sheriff’s investigator Steve Brown at 518-885-2471 or sbrown@saratogacounty.gov.
