Two juvenile boys were arrested early Thursday after allegedly leading state police on a chase in a stolen car.
New York State Police identified a vehicle that matched a BOLO alert for a reported erratic vehicle in the area of I-90 in Canajoharie around 2:22 a.m. Thursday.
State police say troopers tried to stop the car, but the driver took off and crashed a short time later. The driver and passenger, who NYSP say were juvenile males, were taken in custody and transported to the hospital for evaluation. Both were charged with 4th class felony criminal possession of stolen property and scheduled to appear in family court in November.
No injuries were reported and officials say more charges are possible.
