LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) - New York State Police arrested a man they say struck and spit at a trooper on Wednesday.
Police say they were dispatched to a report of an intoxicated man walking down the road in the area of Birch Avenue in Lake George.
After locating the man, identified as 35-year-old Paul Rushia, of Lake George, police say he became combative, striking and spitting at the trooper.
Police say Rushia, who physically resisted arrest, had a small quantity of marijuana in his possession when he was taken into custody.
He was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, second-degree harassment, and unlawful possession of marijuana.
