New York State Police say they arrested two people in connection with the death of 19-year-old Liam McGlinchey on Friday.

Samuel Heroux, 21, of Cohoes, and a 19-year-old were charged with criminally negligent homicide. The 19-year-old is not being identified due to the suspect’s age at that the time of the alleged incident.

On August 25, 2017, troopers responded to a call on Rolling Brook Drive in Clifton Park for a report of a man who was unresponsive in the driveway. When police arrived on scene, they say they found McGlinchey dead.

Following an investigation, police say McGlinchey had been out the previous night with friends and became highly intoxicated. His friends are accused of bringing him home and left him on a grassy area outside of his home.

Toxicology reports revealed McGlinchey had a blood alcohol level of 0.40 percent.

Both Heroux and the teen were arraigned and remanded to Saratoga County Jail pending another hearing next week.
