A reminder for drivers to keep their eyes on the road at all times. April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month.
The New York State Thruway Authority is taking to social media this month, sharing posts, reminding you to not text and drive or doing anything else would take your eyes off the road. That includes changing the radio station, eating, and even drowsy driving.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Adiministration, 3,450 people were killed by distracted driving nationwide back in 2016.
