ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) —  The New York State Senate passed a bill that allows unlimited sick leave for 9/11 first responders.

It’s one of three bills that drew hundreds of New York City firefighters to the Capitol on Thursday.

The other two include removing barriers for those who need to be seen by the medical board and better access to disability leave when a firefighter is diagnosed with cancer.
