NY Republican chairman joins Trump’s re-election campaign

(NEWS10) – New York State Republican Chairman Ed Cox made a big announcement on Tuesday.

Cox says he will be joining President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign with fundraising operations in New York.

Erie County Chairman Nick Langworth will succeed Cox as the presumptive chairman following his official election in July.

Rensselaer County coronavirus update Jan. 18

TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Rensselaer County has 109 new COVID-19 cases, the county announced Monday. The county's seven-day rolling average, according to New York State, is 7.2%.

Monday's new cases bring the total number of confirmed cases in the county to 7,105. There are now 1,978 active cases in the county.

During the winter months, basketball coaches are usually busy helping student athletes, leading practices and coaching games, but with the pandemic sidelining high-risk sports, South Glens Falls Varsity Basketball Coach Chris Cottrell decided to launch his Coaches vs. COVID campaign.
