New funding will build housing for NY homeless


ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — More than $3 million has been committed to building new housing for those struggling with homelessness in the Capital Region.

The two new buildings will be in Albany and will be comprised of 15 units and 27 beds of permanent supportive housing for homeless families and individuals.

Eight of the units being built will be set aside for children. There is currently no timetable for construction.
