Mohawk Hudson Humane Society launches ‘kitty cam’

Local

The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society is launching new technology to bring you closer to the animals.

The new gadgets include a GoPro to aid in behavioral assessment and training. The Alexa Skill app that teaches people about available animals for adoption, events, and volunteer opportunities

Finally, a very special “kitty cam” that allows anyone at home to watch a live feed of available cats at the humane society

“People, of course, are really drawn to live videos of animals and we have so many wonderful things going on here in the shelter and this is just one of the places where we thought it would be great for people to be able to tune in and see what’s going on,” Marguerite Pearson, Marketing Director at Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, said. “Hopefully maybe fall in love with an animal and get to know them a little bit and help to encourage adoptions.”

To access the “kitty cam” you can log on to the Mohawk Humane Society website any day between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
