SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR) – Police were looking for Norman and Shirley Lepine, a couple from New Hampshire, last seen traveling on the New York State Thruway in Syracuse.
The missing persons alert was canceled for Norman on April 5, just before 1 p.m.
He and his wife had been involved in a car crash in the town of Petersburg in Rensselaer County.
Both were transported to a hospital in Troy for evaluation.
The Bedford, New Hampshire Police Department says the pair was traveling through Onondaga County in a white Audi A8, with New Hampshire registration 4C455, on Thursday around 6:30 p.m.
The alert was issued because Norman has dementia.
