Another emotional day on Monday, with memorial services and funerals continuing for victims of the tragic Schoharie limo crash. The cash claimed 20 lives in all.

Special services are scheduled Monday to remember four of the victims, including a young woman who helped people with disabilities, a sports enthusiast recently inducted into the Catholic High Hall of Fame and a newlywed couple.

Lines stretched around the block Sunday, for the calling hours of Shane McGowan and Eric Vertucci.

Last week NEWS10 spoke with Erin’s cousin.

“Erin was a wonderful person. She would do anything for anyone,” he said. “She was a dog lover. She loved her family, and loved being a wife. Just a beautiful person to be around.”

Erin was just 34-years-old. Her husband Shane McGowan was 30. Their funeral will be held Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Amsterdam.

Services were also held Monday for Rachel Cavosie, a Catholic High graduate who worked as a dental hygienist in Glenmont. A memorial mass was held Monday morning at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Waterford.

Family of 29-yar-old Amanda Rivenburg will receive family and friends at the Christ Our Light Church in Loudonville Monday, with funeral services on Tuesday morning.

Amanda worked at Living Resources, an organization that helps provide growth opportunities to people with disabilities.

In her obituary, Amanda’s family said, “Amanda has touched so many people throughout the years; she will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.”
