The Albany Police Department arrested a man they say had a stolen vehicle on Sheridan Avenue on Sunday.
Police say patrol officers observed a vehicle parked near the intersection of Sheridan Avenue and Lark Street that had been reported stolen to police.
Officers took Marquis Dixon, 21, into custody after police say he got into the driver’s seat.
He was charged with one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
Dixon was arraigned and remanded to Albany County Jail.
After his first arrest, Dixon became the poster child for youthful offenders and became the face of the raise the age of criminal responsibility campaign.
Dixon is currently under supervision of New York State Parole until October 2020 for third-degree criminal possession of weapon.
