Man accused in Troy stabbing arrested

The Troy Police Department says a man accused in a stabbing at Dunkin Donuts on March 4 has been arrested.

Police say as officers were closing in on Zack Beckner, 18, he fled to Virginia.

On Tuesday, police received a tip that Beckner was back in Troy, located him, and arrested him.

Beckner was charged with Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, Robbery in the First Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.

He was remanded to Rensselaer County Jail.

Police say the stabbing happened during an argument between Beckner and another man.
