A major new construction project could be coming to the Halfmoon-Waterford Fire District.
The proposal would have the current 56-year-old fire station demolished to make for the new building.
The new station would feature a cancer mitigating turnout gear room, a training room, and fire department offices.
In order to make the project a reality, the district needs to get a bond of around $12.3 million, which would increase taxes up to $126 a year.
The proposal will be put to a vote on Tuesday, November 27.
