Madison Theatre set to reopen

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Here’s something neighbors have wanted for a while: tickets to go on sale for the new Star Wars movie.

Yes, not unexpected unless you’re buying them at the Madison Theatre. The theater is opening again next Thursday with a block party from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Mayor Sheehan and city councilman for Ward 10 Owusu Anne help make the block party possible.

The Madison Theatre will be the second movie theater in the state to take advantage of new changes that allow alcohol to be served.

The street will be closed, and Skeeter Creek will be live.
