Local dairy farm suffers major damage after early morning fire

An early morning fire heavily damaged a local dairy farm on Sunday.

The fire broke out around 2 a.m. at the Zeimba Family Dairy Farm in North Adams according to a GoFundMe page created for the family.

Two major barns were lost along with 800 bales of hay, a farm tractor, and the primary shelter for around 250 cattle.  The GoFundMe has raised upwards of $16,000 since it was posted earlier this evening.

The farm has been in business since the 1930’s.
