Local advocate heads to D.C. for water quality bill

Local

Local water quality advocate Michael Hickey has again been invited to Washington D.C. to give input on a new bill geared toward safe drinking water.

Hickey has been largely credited with discovering the PFOA contamination in Hoosick Falls. He’ll be on hand on Thursday to help announce the WATER Act of 2019.

Co-sponsors of the bill include Sen. Bernie Sanders and Rep. Antonio Delgado.
