On Thursday, Carly Waters and her sister Emma were on the “GMA Strahan and Sara” show on ABC, recognized for Carly’s Lemon(aids) for hearing aids project.

The third grader at Schoharie Elementary School makes lemons to raise funds for hearing aids, inspired by Emma and her other younger sister Molly, who have hearing loss.

During the TV appearance, the HearStrong foundation gave a $5,000 donation to support their cause and said they would match up to $10,000 donated to their organization for a total of up to $25,000 to Lemon(aids).
