Kearney Cup Dodgeball Tournament raises thousands for youth

Volunteers hit the court for some friendly competition during the 9th annual Kearney Cup Dodgeball Tournament.

The event was hosted by the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Area and named after former club kid John Kearney.

Nearly 30 teams showed off their best skills to compete for the 6-foot-tall Kearney Cup trophy.

While having fun was the number one rule, this year’s goal was to raise money for summer camp scholarships.
