The Johnstown Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps is operational again following a closure in March.
The Fulton County Emergency Management Office was notified about the change by the health department Tuesday afternoon, but it is only able to offer basic life support at this time.
JAVAC ceased operations back in March after call volume dropped for their coverage area which caused financial issues.
Advanced life support services are still available through the City of Johnstown Fire Department and the Greater Amsterdam Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
JAVAC covers the City of Johnstown and a part of the Town of Johnstown.
