Habitat for Humanity offers up space for a new police substation

Local

West side residents in Pittsfield are hoping that bringing a police substation to the area will help lower the number of incidents and build better relationships with police.

The Central Berkshire Habitat for Humanity has offered up a space free of charge for Pittsfield Police. The last time the area had a substation was back in the 90’s.

Habitat for Humanity believes that their location would be the perfect scenario for easy public access.
