A local man was convicted Friday of murdering an up-and-coming local rap artist.

Carlos Graham is facing a sentence of 25 years to life for murdering Brandyn Foster, of Catskill, and then hiding his body for more than a year.

Foster vanished without a trace and was reported missing on January 26, 2017. In the year after that, NEWS10 ABC sat down with his mother for multiple interviews as police continued to search for her son.

After numerous visits to the property where he was last seen, his body was located on February 6, 2018 buried underneath the floor boards in the home. Law enforcement officials said Graham, along with Sade Knox, had been living in the home above Foster’s remains.

Knox was also charged with Murder in the Second Degree.

In addition to Murder, Graham was convicted of two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, Concealment of a Human Corpse, and two counts Tampering with Physical Evidence: Conceal/Destroy.

He’s scheduled to be sentenced on April 2.
