KNOX, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Children with autism and other disabilities have a new place to play. A new first of its kind playground opened Saturday at Knox Town Park.

Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara and his son Michael helped with the grand opening. Michael lives with autism and has appeared with his father at many fundraising events.

The playground is disability accessible and includes autism friendly sensory equipment. It was built with money from a grant that was obtained earlier this year.
