Free rapid HIV testing sessions available at Albany Public Library branches

The first of several rapid HIV tests scheduled over the next month will be held Monday at the Albany Public Library.

The first session of on-site rapid HIV testing will be held from 3:30 – 6:00 p.m. Monday at the Pine Hills Branch of the Albany Public Library located at 517 Western Avenue. 

The testing is free, no insurance information required, in partnership with the Albany Medical College. The entire process will be confidential and takes approximately 20 minutes. No appointments are necessary.

Aditional HIV testing sessions will be held at the following times and locations:

May 3 I 5:30 – 8:00 p.m.
Delaware Branch (331 Delaware Ave)

May 14 I 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Washington Ave Branch (161 Washington Ave)

May 18 I 3:30 – 6:00 p.m.
Howe Branch (105 Schuyler St.)

May 22 I 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Bach Branch (455 New Scotland Ave)
