New York State Police arrested a woman they say cashed a forged check.
Police say they received a tip from a local business owner showing bank records that one of his business checks was filled out and cashed without his prior knowledge.
Lori McNamara, 51, of Wilton, a former employee, is accused of forging the check and depositing the money into her account.
She was charged with possession of a forged instrument and fourth-degree grand larceny.
McNamara is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
