Families taking prom precautions in the wake of deadly Schoharie crash

Families across the state are taking precautions when hiring limos for prom in the wake of the Schoharie crash where 20 died.

Families of the victims testified before the New York State Senate transportation committee advocating for more regulations of the limo industry.

A Premiere Transportation in Albany tells News10 they’ve received several inquiries from parents about their track record and credentials.

Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara has proposed legislation to create a database of limo companies so there is more transparency and customers can see if services have had any problems in the past.
