ENOUGH Program holds Easter Egg Hunt

Local

The ENOUGH Anti-gun Violence Program held an Easter Egg hunt in Albany Saturday.

Over 40,000 Easter eggs were hidden in Beverwyck Park to make sure no child was left without an Easter egg.

If the children could not attend today’s event, volunteers stopped at houses throughout the inner city to pass out more eggs.

“We want to give the kids something that is worthy of who they are and really convey a message of love on Easter, which is all about the love of God,” said Pastor Charles Muller of the Victory Christian Church.

The ENOUGH Program works to get illegal guns off the streats and holds other camps and events throughout the year to help inner city kids stay away from violence.

ENOUGH offers rewards to residents that turn in illegal guns.  They can be reached 24/7 at 518-857-0726.
