EMS workers rally at Capitol against proposed cuts

Ambulance services from all across the state gathering at the Capitol to fight the healthcare cuts in the proposed budget.

Many say if the Governor’s proposed cuts to Medicaid reimbursement pass, several EMS services will be forced to go out of business. Those with ambulance services also say EMS should be considered an essential service and receive taxpayer funding.

The budget is due on April 1.
