SCHOHARIE, N.Y. (NEWS10)—Over 3,000 hands decorated Easter eggs sit on display this weekend in Schoharie.

Created over a 50 year period by Mildred Vrooman and Elizabeth Warner, they were first displayed in the Schoharie library.  As the collection grew it moved several times, before Mildred at the age of 91, built the museum building on her property.  Now property owner Jim Heyman has opened the museum once again to help raise money for the Schoharie library.
