Early morning fire at a vacant property in Schenectady

SCHNECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Fire crews were called to a house fire on Victory Ave around 1:30am Tuesday morning.

Police in the patrolling area say they saw smoke coming from the home. 

Fire officials say it started in the attic. People who live adjacent to the vacant home had to be evacuated. 

No one was injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
