Boys & Girls Club merger becomes official

Local

For the past two years the Boys & Girls Club of Troy and Albany have been working to merge. As of last week that merger became official.

Both clubs are now combined into one now called The Boys and Girls Club of The Capitol Area. With this union the organization will serve about 1,800 children.

The hope is to create more powerful programs for youth and add more job opportunities for future employees.
