SCHENECTADY N.Y. (NEWS10)—A New York State Attorney General grant helps fund Capital Region Land Bank as they get set to tear down blighted homes in Schenectady’s Mont Pleasant and Eastern Ave. Neighborhoods. The first home scheduled to be torn down is on Francis Ave.
The plan is to send for bit clusters of homes on the same street, that way the cost can be kept low. The other properties will be demolished towards the end of summer.
