Albany correctional officer arraigned in rape case

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The correctional officer accused of rape at the Albany County Jail was arraigned on Friday.

An indictment alleges that Michael Snyder had sex with a female inmate multiple times between March 16 and March 22.

The indictment also says that Snyder had sexual contact with different female inmates between December 2018 and January 20.

Synder pleaded not guilty to those charges in court.
