ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) - Twice a year for the past 5 years, nonprofit organization 15-LOVE hosts free book giveaways for the community.
The goal of the event is to prevent reading loss among students and attracts hundreds of families.
Open to children up to age 18, attendees are able to receive two new books and as many gently-used books as they want.
According to 15-LOVE Program Director Domingo Montes, they have upwards of 1,000 books but are still in need of more - especially early chapter and children's books.
